Meet your Optometrist: Dr. Daniel Daraban
Dr. Daniel Daraban received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Windsor, and then moved to Chicago to study optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, where he graduated in 2017. In the final year of his program, he spent his internship as the Detroit VA and the University of Kentucky Ophthalmology Department, with a focus on primary care and ocular disease.
His passion for the profession stemmed from his love of science, health, nutrition, optics and photography, and he likes sharing his knowledge with his patients to help them develop a deeper understanding of their own eye conditions, and how to manage them best. Outside of optometry, he enjoys playing tennis and basketball, board games, running and hiking.
