Bailey Nelson Willowbrook Shopping Centre

Born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey BC, Dr. Prabhdeep Kaur Purewal attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology. After graduating from KPU, Dr. Purewal decided to take some time off from academics to volunteer. She had an amazing experience volunteering in Ecuador helping build homes. Being in Ecuador gave her the chance to explore the gorgeous Galapagos Islands, swim with sharks, sea turtles and hike near an inactive volcano!  

She graduated with honors from Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Throughout ICO, she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key Honors Societies. In her third year, at ICO she was Vice President of CAOS, an organization for Canadian optometry students.  

Dr. Purewal enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. In her free time she loves baking, reading and hiking!
