Dr. Salame was born and raised in Edmonton. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta, and then pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at InterAmerican University in Puerto Rico. She has enjoyed volunteering at the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and being a part of mission trips to the Dominican Republic. She hopes to do more mission trips and vision screenings in the future to ensure an access to eye care for everyone.

Dr. Salame constantly makes an effort to remain up to date on advancements in the world of Optometry in order to give her patients the best care and education about their vision and ocular health. When not working, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and watching documentaries.
