Dr. Heena Patel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science at Indiana University, then moved to Massachusetts to attend optometry school at MCPHS University.  Throughout her training she focused on primary care and vision therapy. Dr. Patel went on to complete a residency to further her knowledge in a multi-disciplinary practice focused on ocular disease. Her approach to optometry has always been to look at the whole picture. She values the importance of working together with other medical professionals to further the care of each individual patient. 

Dr. Patel’s sincerity and genuine care for her patients allows her to provide a thorough and interactive comprehensive eye exam. Dr. Patel spends the time to get to know each patient and their history so she can incorporate that knowledge into their eye exam. She is able to provide eye exams in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Spanish. Outside of optometry, she enjoys traveling, running, listening to podcasts and spending time with her family and friends.
