Dr. Ivy Deng has a background in Neuroscience from Western University before graduating with her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. She completed her clinical training in rural Northern British Columbia where she gained valuable experience diagnosing and managing ocular conditions and emergencies including uveitis, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma. She is passionate about providing quality eye care to patients of all ages and has a special interest in myopia control, contact lenses and dry eye disease. Dr. Deng grew up in Markham and Richmond Hill and can provide care in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels, working out, and travelling. Dr. Deng looks forward to meeting you and your family!
