Dr. Ma was born and raised in Vancouver. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, she went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry.

For her clinical rotations, Dr. Ma gained experience and worked in the areas of ocular disease, low vision, contact lenses, binocular vision, dry eyes, pediatrics, and primary care. She completed her externships at a Veterans Affairs hospital in Tacoma, Washington, a multi-specialty clinic in Kirkland, Washington and a primary care clinic in the Lower Mainland.

Dr. Ma values not only your vision, but also your overall eye health. After working in different clinics within Greater Vancouver, she is grateful to be able to work alongside Bailey Nelson. She feels incredibly privileged to be back in the city she grew up in to practice optometry and care for your eyes.

Dr. Shayna Tailor was born and raised in Ontario. After completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University, she continued her education at the University of Waterloo for her Doctor of Optometry. 

Following her graduation, she began practising in Ontario, where she gained extensive experience with ocular diseases, contact lenses and myopia control in children within a private practice setting. After three years working in Ontario, Dr. Tailor relocated to Vancouver, having previously experienced the beauty of British Columbia during one of her optometry externships.

In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, painting, and travelling. With a strong commitment to ongoing education and comprehensive patient care, Dr. Tailor is dedicated to helping you see the world clearly and comfortably.
