Dr. Priya Banga received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021 from Western University of Health Sciences in California and was awarded the Gold Key – International Optometric Honor Society Award for demonstrating leadership and service to the profession. She has volunteered with VOSH (Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity) in 2019 to provide free eyecare to the underserved population in Fiji and has completed a residency in 2022 for Vision Rehabilitation, Vision Therapy and Pediatrics in Manitoba.
She has a particular interest in treating and managing paediatrics, and patients with poor eye teamwork or focusing, traumatic brain injury (concussion), dry eyes, and contact lenses
Dr. Banga is born in Prince George. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of Northern British Columbia. Being from the North, she enjoys many outdoor activities as well as travelling around the world.
