Dr. Iskander completed his Bachelor of Science with Honours from York University in Toronto then moved to Chicago where he received his Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). Dr. Iskander did his rotations in Chicago where he focused on anterior segment disease management, keratoconus, specialty contact lenses, Myopia Control management and dry eye disease. He worked with various pediatric clinic modalities and deepened his knowledge in glaucoma, cataract, pre and post operative management. He also worked in the Pennsylvania Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center where he managed a wide variety of ocular diseases. He continued his practice in Philadelphia before moving back to Canada.

Dr. Iskander tailors his care for each patient and he actively listens to each patient needs, and is fluent in both English and Arabic. Dr. Iskander is accepting new patients, and seeing existing patients as well. In his spare time, he likes trying different restaurants and traveling.
