Dr. Sydney Kirsch is passionate about providing clear, comfortable vision that allows her patients to do what they love most. She believes that our vision and sight shapes the way we not only see, but how we connect with the world around us.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta she earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Calgary. She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from the New England College of Optometry with her Doctorate of Optometry, always pursuing the goal of practising on beautiful Vancouver Island.

Dr. Kirsch has interned in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, community health and hospitals. This has given her experience with a diversity of patients and eye conditions including ocular disease, contact lens, paediatrics, vision therapy and primary care.

She prides herself in being LGBTQ+ friendly and making each and every patient feel safe. In her spare time she loves travelling, snowboarding, playing board games and exploring new coffee shops.
