Meet your Optometrist: Dr. Syed Mohammed Moosavi

Meet your Optometrist: Dr. Syed Mohammed Moosavi

Dr. Syed Mohammed Moosavi was born in Toronto and raised in the North York and Vaughan area. His earliest memories were of him accompanying his father - an optician - to work, which ultimately sparked his love for optometry.

Dr. Moosavi completed his undergraduate studies at York University, Toronto before attending Aston University Optometry School in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He spent his final year in the historical city of Oxford where he was an intern at Oxford University Eye Hospital and a local community practice focusing on primary eye care and ocular disease. Upon his return back home to Canada, Dr. Moosavi successfully completed his equivalency program at the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry.
